Is there a way to control the pressure of a water system using a electric valve without compermising the quantity of water coming out of the system? If so what kind of valve and where to get and if not what are some other options to use, it needs to be electronic because i am building a control system to monitor the pressure in a system and vary it according to the user input by changing the placement of the valve, such as being half open for a lower pressure and fully open for more pressure. etc thanksWater Pressure Control?
I looks like you want to control the downstream pressure
yes there are several type of regulators that will do that
they range from simple = $
to very complex = $$$$$$
it depends on the flow rate variations, pressure regulation...

It is not clear if you are trying to control the upstream pressure or the down stream pressure or maybe even the flow rate.
Also using a step controller will not really maintain a constant pressure or an even pressure. Most pressure control is done so the control valve can modulate to vary the flow rate to maintain either an upstream or down stream pressure.
