My shower knob goes from cold 2 hot no way 2 control pressure if i change the knob will i have 2 break the wa?

i need to have adjustable water pressure from the faucet b/c i have an 8 month old - i know knobs exist - but the super of my building says he will have to break the wall open to change it to a know where i can control the flow of the water...My shower knob goes from cold 2 hot no way 2 control pressure if i change the knob will i have 2 break the wa?
If, as it sounds like, you have a single knob faucet. If it is an older faucet, he's right about opening the wall to replace the valve body.





You could get an adjustable shower head %26amp; have the super put that on...he'd probably be happier %26amp; you'd not have the mess.
