You better get another doctor, that Blood pressure would make me horizontal. You need to be on meds. Everyday you have a pressure like that you're tempting stroke and death. ';get another doctor';
Take life easy. Reduce intake of salt. Take plenty of water.

Start taking medicine only on medical advice, cauz once on it, you have to continue it for life. Do deep-breething.
This is indeed a medical so no one other than your doctor knows you well enough to answer . The literature would indicate that exercise, weight loss, limitation on sodium , limtation of stress are all factors that could contribute to blood pressure reduction.

You should come up with ideas on all of these issues, review them directly with your doctor and set a follow-up date with him to see if you are making progress.

Other than the normal risks of exercise, all of these can only help.
Not.Your blood pressure is too high.Ways to decrease your BP walking daily, lose weight, eat %26lt;2000 mg of sodium per day, control stress(take a tranquilizer if you have to) You should purchase a wrist BP device at the pharmacy and record your blood pressure daily and make a log.Take the log to your doctor and let him review your daily BPs.They are very pleased with these logs.He may not be treating you because he thinks you have ';white coat syndrome'; meaning a doc visit causes you stress, hence elevating your blood pressure. He should still have requested you to keep a daily log, maybe he just doesn't care.Maybe you need a new doc.
If your Dr. says it's 150/100 and won't give you any meds. He/she is nutz. It's NOT OK.

First of all, get another Dr.

You should be at least taking 40 mg's of Accupril or 40 mg's of Norvasc to lower and regulate it.
It is not OK. Before resorting to medication please try following:

(a) Reduce your weight

(b) Reduce your salt intake considerably

(c) stop worrying.

(b) Go for regular walk of at least 2 KMs daily

If nothing work you have no choice but to see a doctor and act as per his advice
Try Hawthorn in capsules also trymoducale if you have high cholesterol . You may want to try garlic as well and deffinatly get another medical oppinion. Even though I am a naturopathic practioner I feel that sometimes modern and holistic work together. By the way you can find all these suplements at a health food store!
Your blood pressure is high. Your doctor should be going over ways to reduce it. You should cut down on sodium in your diet and increase potassium. Some quick tips- my dad has high blood pressure and while he is controlling it with medication, I try to get him to eat certain things that are high in potassium and to stay away from salty snacks like salted nuts, chips, deli meats, and canned soups. He eats a banana every day (at least one) which are very high in potassium. Also, potatoes are high in potassium (no salt allowed). Don't sprinkle salt on your foods.

Do a Google search for the DASH diet. You should make changes in your lifestyle or try medication, as your blood pressure is relatively high- serious risk factor for stroke, heart disease.
I would consider you to get a different Medical Doctor. Any thing not normal blood pressure, 120/80 is very high in your case. You should try walking and if that does not work you should get blood pressure medication, before it's too late. That could cause Heart and Kidney failure.
If my bood pressure was that high, I would insist on being put on medication.
