It can, I had to stop taking it, but I'm now that I'm on blood pressure medication I could go back on them if I wanted but simply don't trust them.
I don't frankly understand why my Dr. will prescribe something that challenges the effectiveness of my blood pressure meds and puts me at higher risk of stroke and heart attack.
Weird huh?Does the birth control pill cause high blood pressure?
Not in everyone but it does in a small percentage of women
Thats why your doctor or nurse will check your blood pressure regularly if you are on the birth control pill
Sometimes changing to a different pill will resolve the problem if it occurs
