How can control blood pressure?

controling blood pressure without taking tabletsHow can control blood pressure?
Lifestyle changes can help control and prevent high blood pressure, even if one is on blood pressure medication.

Eat healthy foods 鈥?try a diet, which emphasises fruits, vegetables, whole grains and low-fat dairy foods. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. Limit the amount of sodium in the diet. Avoid coffee and colas.

Maintain a healthy weight - if overweight, losing even 5 pounds can lower blood pressure.

Increase physical activity - regular physical activity can help lower blood pressure and keep weight under control. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day.

Limit alcohol - even if you're healthy, alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so in moderation.

Don't smoke - tobacco injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. So quit smoking.

Manage stress - reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation and deep breathing. Getting plenty of sleep can help, too.

Changing your lifestyle can go a long way toward controlling high blood pressure. But sometimes lifestyle changes aren't enough. In addition to diet and exercise, the doctor may recommend medication to lower blood pressure. Which category of medication the doctor prescribes depends on the stage of high blood pressure and whether or not you also have other medical conditions. To reduce the number of doses you need a day, which can reduce side effects, the doctor may prescribe a combination of low-dose medications rather than larger doses of one single drug. In fact, two or more blood pressure drugs often work better than one. Sometimes finding the most effective medication 鈥?or combination of drugs 鈥?is a matter of trial and error.How can control blood pressure?
Follow your doctor's instructions for when and how often to check your blood pressure. Keep in mind that certain factors can cause blood pressure to temporarily rise. Blood pressure normally rises as a result of:

* Stress

* Smoking

* Cold temperatures

* Exercise

* A full stomach

* Full bladder

* Caffeine

* Certain medicines

Avoid any of these factors you can when taking your blood pressure. Also try measuring your blood pressure at about the same time each day.
Dr Knowitall is on the right track. Control the salt intake (soda (pop) has sodium (salt) in it so watch how much of it you drink, diet soda has more sodium than regular soda so watch out for hidden salt) reduce your weight if you are overweight, get plenty of exercise, keep stress under control, plenty of fruits and veggies, lots of water to flush the salt out of your system, if you smoke, Stop. Limit alcohol and caffeine consumption. This has to be a lifestyle change. If none of these work the Dr will start you on a fluid reducer, that is the first line of high BP medication. If the BP doesn't come down and the fluid reducer doesn't help you may have to be put on BP pills. Hope these tips help you.
That totally depends on how out of control your blood pressure is. If it is only slightly high, then a change of lifestyle sometimes help--changing eating habits, trying to avoid stress, etc. If it to high, a doctor will most likely put you on some kind of high blood pressure medication.
There are many medicines to control blood pressure, but you can control it without medicines, stop use of bulk quantity of salt and spices in your meal, join yoga classes, drink cold and think positive.

By best wishes are with you, you will find 100 % result.

to control low blood pressure a good way is to eat dark chocolate (a single 250 g bar) a day. this should increase blood pressure significantly.

lowering blood pressure would involve not eating chocolate or caffeinated food.
Depends on why you have high blood pressure.

If your kidney don't function properly, you need to take the meds.

My high blood pressure is due to stress. I don't smoke or have caffeine, but for some reason my body does not want to relax.

I have to take a pill to relax my blood vessels and a pill to calm my muscles.
Well now I think that I can address that problem as I have it. I am trying to get away from prescription drugs. I try eating the correct foods like oatmeal, soy, onions, beetroot etc. I stay away from meat except skinless chicken. Living in Indonesia is quite stress free so I do better here than in the UK. I am now trying DCPC Compound Hypotensive tablets made in Beijing. Seems to be working but the paper is in Chinese so I am not sure what is in it.It is supposed to be natural. In the UK without medication my pressure would be 160/100. Here it is usually 140/85 and I am working at lowering it
This really works!!

It also helps to reduce depression n moon swings n many more mental problems.. its great and easy!!
