I have a home built in the 60's, I'm trying to eliminate most causes of a water pressure drop in parts of the house. Yes the pipes are the old kind, I've had the town check the pressure at the main. There is a small knob next to the inside shut off valve. What does it do? If I touch water flies everywhere. Ideas?Pressure control location?
The small knob is probably a bleeder valve to purge the air out of the line water goes everywhere because there is no air in the line only water.
